Gerard Robinson

Gerard came to the stage as a second career having gained experience at the Birmingham School of Acting. He is co-founder of the Oxford Actors’ Network and recently appeared as Isambard Kingdom Brunel at the OVADA Gallery. He has worked with ‘Theatre Without Walls’ in their ‘Plant Hunters’ series playing Ernest Henry Wilson and also as Don Quixote with Yeta Theatre Company. Other stage appearances include Harpagon in the ‘Miser’, Theseus in ‘A Midsummer’s Night Dream’, Bob Cratchit in ‘A Christmas Carol’, and the King of Hearts in Cherwell Theatre Company’s production of ‘Alice in Wonderland’. With Actors-Present, Gerard has played Hoo in 'Hoo's on First' and Lane in 'Reflections in a Distorting Mirror'.

Gerard’s work with the Oxford Actors’ Network includes directing and appearing in ‘PlayBites’ staged in the Oxford Playhouse Circle Bar and the informal Jam-on-That? sessions at the Oxford Jam factory.
